The salts contain 15% natural minerals -- more than other standard drug-store brands. 100% natural sea water is pumped into the greenhouses where the salts are slowly dehydrated using traditional flat kilns over fire. This slow handmade process results in a softer, rounder salt composition. Because it is so unique and labor intensive, it can only be made in small quantities.
